Licorice sticks Original sweet 60g Halva

Licorice substances support the formation of gastric juices and, on the contrary, counteract the formation of gastric and duodenal ulcers. They also cause dilution of thick mucus from the airways. Therefore, it is used as an adjunct to relieve cough and to promote coughing in asthma or chronic bronchitis. In small doses, licorice promotes more frequent urination, in higher doses, the diuretic effects disappear. Other effects are known, for example, against inflammation and increased muscle tension.
